Vidora Labs ("the service") is owned and operated by Rank First Technologies ("we", "us"), Mohali, Punjab, India. By creating an account you enter into this agreement with Rank First Technologies.
You must give accurate registration details and keep your password secure. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account, including jobs submitted and credit spent. Tell us immediately at support@vidoralabs.cc if you believe your account has been accessed by someone else.
One account per legal entity. Do not share credentials across organisations.
You upload audio or video, choose target languages, and we return timed subtitle files. Processing is automated. We do not guarantee a specific accuracy level, because output quality depends substantially on your source audio — dialogue clarity, background music, overlapping speech and accent all affect the result. We publish this openly rather than promising a number we cannot hold to.
You keep all rights in the media you upload and in the subtitle files we return. You grant us only the limited, temporary licence needed to process your file and deliver the output.
You are solely responsible for having the right to upload what you upload. We do not verify ownership, licences or clearances. Do not submit material you are not authorised to subtitle. You agree to indemnify us against any claim arising from content you submitted without the necessary rights.
You may not use the service to process material that is unlawful in India or in your own jurisdiction, that depicts child sexual abuse, that incites violence, or that you have obtained through unauthorised access. We may suspend an account immediately where we have reasonable grounds to believe it is being used for any of these.
You may not attempt to circumvent rate limits, resell access to your account, or probe the service for vulnerabilities without written permission.
The service is prepaid. You buy wallet credit and it is consumed at $4.00 for the first hour of source runtime in one target language, then $1.00 for every 15 minutes beyond that hour. The first hour is charged in full however short the file is, so $4.00 is the minimum any job costs in one language. Each additional target language multiplies the figure. The minimum top-up is $100.00. Credit never expires and is non-refundable — see the refund policy.
When you submit a job we hold the estimated cost and settle it against the true runtime once processing establishes it. Failed and cancelled jobs release their hold in full. We may change pricing with thirty days' notice; credit already purchased is honoured at the rate in effect when it was spent.
We aim to keep the service running but do not promise uninterrupted availability. Processing depends in part on infrastructure outside our control. We may perform maintenance, and we may suspend processing temporarily where continuing would risk data integrity.
Uploaded media is deleted as soon as a transcript has been produced, and in every case within 2 minutes of a job stopping. Subtitle files remain in your account until you delete them or close the account. Full detail is in the privacy policy.
To the extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from the service is limited to the amount of credit you spent in the three months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost revenue, lost distribution opportunities, reputational harm, or the cost of correcting published subtitles.
Subtitles produced here are machine output. If a title carries legal, regulatory or accessibility obligations, review the output before publishing it. We provide flag counts precisely so that review can be targeted rather than exhaustive.
You may close your account at any time; remaining credit is forfeited. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that is used unlawfully, or where a payment dispute is open. Where we close an account without cause, we will return unused credit.
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified by email to the address on your account at least fourteen days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that constitutes acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Mohali, Punjab, India have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
